    JA of Western Massachusetts impacts thousands of young people each year- opening their minds to their potential and preparing them for life after graduation. As a member of JA Worldwide, JA of Western MA is a part of a global organization that operates in 123 countries and reaches 9.7 million students around the globe.

  • Hartford Stage

    Hartford Stage, located in Hartford, Connecticut, is one of the leading resident theatres in the United States, known internationally for entertaining and enlightening audiences with a wide range of the best of world drama, from classics to provocative new plays and musicals and neglected works from the past. The theatre has earned many of the nation's most distinguished awards, including the Regional Theatre Tony Award, the Margo Jones Award for Development of New Works, OBIE and New York Critics Circle Awards, an Elliot Norton Award and a 2007 Bank of American Neighborhood Builders Award.

  • Symphony Hall

    WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO CityStage and Symphony Hall are Springfield’s only destinations for live, professional theatre. We present a season of touring Broadway musicals, concerts and an educational series at Symphony Hall and Off-Broadway musicals and comedies at CityStage. On average, the two theatres host 250 events from September through June with an extremely broad variety of shows. Our entertainment ranges from classical music to wrestling events, with magic shows, concerts, jugglers, an educational series, dramas, public forums, graduations, dance recitals and everything else in between. Symphony Hall is home to the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, The Springfield Public Forum, and public and private graduation ceremonies for the Springfield public schools and surrounding communities. Both theatres are truly valuable resources to all of Springfield and the surrounding communities.

    Established in 1935, the Springfield Public Forum is old but new each year. Each fall, we mark our long tradition of "great speakers, great discourse" with an exciting line-up of cutting edge lectures. The Public Forum's lectures and related programming promise that you will arrive curious and leave insired!

    The March of Dimes Mission To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.

  • Springfield School Volunteers

    What is Springfield School Volunteers? Springfield School Volunteers is a non-profit organization that has been matching the resources of the community with the needs of the students, teachers and principals of the Springfield Public Schools since 1969. In alignment with the district's priorities, our focus is to provide academic support for students in grades k-12 to promote a culture of academic excellence among Springfield Public School students.

  • Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Hampden County

    Our Mission: To strengthen our community’s future through one-to-one mentoring services to children & youth. For over 40 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County has been the area’s leader in one-to-one mentoring of children. Currently, our agency is serving hundreds of children from Hampden County and the towns of South Hadley and Granby. As an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, we have lots of local and national research that proves our services work.

  • American Diabetes Association

    The American Diabetes Association’s mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. They lead the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fight for those affected by the condition.

  • CT Division of the Liver Foundation

    The Connecticut Division of the American Liver Foundation is dedicated to addressing the needs of our community through education and advocacy for those affected by liver-related diseases, including hepatitis.

  • The Emily Dickinson Museum

    The Museum was created in 2003 when the two houses merged under the ownership of Amherst College. The Museum is dedicated to educating diverse audiences about Emily Dickinson’s life, family, creative work, times, and enduring relevance, and to preserving and interpreting the Homestead and The Evergreens as historical resources for the benefit of scholars and the general public.

    Marking its 67th Season in 2010–2011, The Hartford Symphony Orchestra is Connecticut’s premier musical organization. The Hartford Symphony is the second largest orchestra in New England and is widely recognized as one of America’s leading regional orchestras. We believe passionately in the performance of live symphonic music and its value in the community. To that end, the mission of the HSO is to perform live orchestral music of the highest quality for ever-expanding audiences, and to increase through its educational programs the understanding and enjoyment of that music by residents in Connecticut.

    The Springfield Museums, located in the heart of downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, is comprised of five world-class museums; the Michele & Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts., the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum, the Springfield Science Museum, the Connecticut Valley Historical Museum and the Museum of Springfield History. The Museums Association is proud to be home to the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden, a series of full–scale bronze sculptures of Dr. Seuss's whimsical creations, honoring the birthplace of Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss.
